TORINO PRIMER
Alkali-resistant fixative primer for interiors
CODICE TPS 201
DESCRIPTION AND USAGE
Alkali-resistant fixative primer particularly recommended for all wall substrates, including plaster, plasterboard, lime skim coats, civil plaster; reduces and evens out substrate absorption, ensuring perfect adhesion for subsequent coats of finish. Can be added (max. 5% by volume) to normal breathable water-based or tempera paints for better applicability and resistance to washing.Dry film appearance: transparent (non-film forming).
APPLICATION CYCLES
Apply on dry, firm substrates after removing all traces of dust.
New walls
Apply a coat of TORINO Primer by brush
IMPORTANT INFO
-
Do not apply on fresh or very alkaline plaster; allow to dry, harden and cure for at least 3-4 weeks.
-
Adjust the dilution according to the absorption of the substrate, so that the surface is impregnated without forming a surface film.
-
Do not allow to freeze.
-
Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
-
Apply at temperatures between 5 and 35°C.
-
Wash tools thoroughly with water after use.
-
Coverage depends on substrate absorption.
Already painted walls
Remove any tempera and chalky, flaky old paint by sanding or brushing. Apply filler if required and, where necessary, a coat of TORINO Primer by brush.
