TORINO ANTI CONDENSATION
Anti-condensation and anti-mould water-based paint
CODE TSP 202
DESCRIPTION AND USAGE
TORINO ANTI CONDENSATION is a definitive treatment against bacterial growth and proliferation (mould and fungi) due to damp substrates as a result of water vapour condensation. The original and exclusive formula of TORINO ANTI CONDESNSATION contains a special broad-spectrum additive and hollow glass spheres, ensuring deep sanitizing power and low thermal conductivity for the wall substrate treated and providing a definitive solution for mould and fungal growth in the paint film on cold walls and ceilings (north-facing in particular) and load-bearing reinforced concrete beams. This makes it particularly suitable for areas that are normally damp and poorly ventilated, like bathrooms, kitchenettes, home and industrial kitchens, community cafeterias and public establishments in general.
Dry film appearance: matt.
APPLICATION CYCLES
New walls
The surface must be in good condition, dry, clean and free of traces of mould. Apply a coat of suitably diluted TORINO Primer. After a minimum of four hours apply at least two coats of TORINO ANTI CONDENSATION.
Already painted walls
The surface must be in good condition, dry, clean and free of traces of mould.Remove any tempera and chalky, flaking old paint by sanding or brushing. Apply filler if required and, where necessary, a coat of suitably diluted TPS 201 by brush. After a minimum of four hours apply at least two coats of TORINO ANTI Condensation.
Walls affected by mould and algae
Apply a coat of TORINO ANTI CONDENSATION. After a minimum of three hours, when the substrate is dry, remove any remaining spores by brushing; if possible, use a vacuum cleaner to avoid contaminating the environment with spores that are still active. Repeat the treatment for highly infested walls. Proceed as above.
IMPORTANT INFO
-
Do not apply on fresh or very alkaline plaster; allow to dry, harden and cure for at least 3-4 weeks
-
Do not allow to freeze
-
Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight
-
Stir well before and during use
-
To ensure optimum anti-condensation treatment results over time, carefully clean mould and fungal growth from the substrate and apply TORINO ANTI CONDENSATION in the correct thickness (about 300 µm or three coats by brush / two by roller). On very cold surfaces (north-facing walls, reinforced concrete beams), increase the thickness of the treatment applied
-
Wash tools thoroughly with water after use
-
Coverage depends on substrate absorption
